A full detail on a McLaren

It's a grey McLaren with an orange leather interior, and I did the whole job in the owner's driveway. Here's the order I worked in.

Brushing the inside of a McLaren wheel — **Wheels**I always start with the wheels and tires. A soft brush gets between the spokes and into the barrel behind them.

McLaren fully covered in thick wash foam — **Foam**The foam goes on thick to loosen road grime, so the mitt isn't dragging dirt across the paint.

Rinsing foam off the front of the McLaren — **Rinse**I rinse from the top down so dirty water doesn't run over panels that are already clean.

Nick cleaning the orange leather interior of the McLaren — **Interior**The orange leather got cleaned and protected by hand, along with the carpet, vents and trim.

Hand drying the door edge of the McLaren — **Dry**I dry it by hand with clean towels, including the door edges and jambs.

Yes. I do every job at your home or work, so you don't have to drive anywhere.

Do you need anything from me, like water or power?

Just a spot to work and access to the vehicle. If your service needs water or power from you, I'll tell you when you book.

How long does a detail take?

A Premium Wash runs about 1.5 to 2 hours, an Interior Detail about 2 to 4 hours, and a Full Package roughly 3 to 4 hours depending on the vehicle's condition.

What areas do you serve?

Anywhere in Livingston County with no travel fee, including Brighton, Howell, Hartland and Pinckney. I also go outside the county, to Genesee County, Flint and other nearby parts of SE Michigan, for a travel fee starting at $50 based on distance. Text me your ZIP and I'll confirm.

How do I pay?

There's no deposit. You pay when the job's done, by cash, check (payable to Detail Dash), Venmo (@nick-morfe) or Zelle ((810) 701-2427).

Do I need to be home?

No. If I can get to the vehicle and have room to work, you can leave me to it. A lot of people book while they're at work.

What about weather or winter?

I watch the forecast. If the weather is going to get in the way of a good job, I'll reach out to reschedule. If you have a garage or a covered spot, I can work in there.

Can I reschedule or cancel?
